Sandy Rustin is an actress and award winning playwright. Her sketch comedy musical about parenthood, Rated P … For Parenthood, opened to critical acclaim Off-Broadway at the Westside Theatre and was optioned for TV development with ABC Studios, Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos.

Her full length comedy, The Cottage, (a 2014 Reva Shiner Comedy Award Finalist) opened in New York at the Astoria Performing Arts Center and made its regional debut at Theatre Aspen. It has been enjoying a vibrant regional life ever since.The Cottage is currently in development for an upcoming commercial production in New York.

Sandy’s play, STRUCK enjoyed a critically acclaimed world premiere at NJ REP and will appear in the summer of 2017 atTheatre Raleigh.

Her newest play, HOUSTON, is the recipient of the 2016 New American Musical Award and after a recent workshop in NYC is currently in development for production.

She created, developed, wrote and starred in her own show for Nickelodeon (Nick Mom) called Overbooked. She’s a writer onBelieve Entertainment’s hilarious new webseries, Forever Stamps (2017 premiere). And her webseries, It’s Complicated, was acquired by Stage17.TV
