MIDDLE LEAGUE
It's 1986 in suburban Chicago and Duckie Patattuci has finally had one affair too many. With her husband off to Iceland in a fit of rage, Duckie finds herself now on the precipice of divorce, which her high-powered attorney sister, Judith Light (not the actress), will guide her through. Her life is now one concern after another, not least of which is the emotional well-being of her two young sons, Joey and Kenny. In an effort to alleviate her feelings of guilt and normalize her sons' lives, Duckie, despite the lack of support from her tactless mother, and the wariness of her two closest girlfriends, sets out to do one thing right: secure a new baseball coach for Joey's Little League team. Spoiler Alert: She can't. So ... the new coach ... is her.
